This year, I am not plunking down a load of cash for some cheaply made, one-time use costume. Call me crazy (because, my husband has!!), but I am making my kids costumes this year! There are too many great costume ideas out there, especially the "no sew"...which is my favorite option, since I can barely work a needle and thread. Here are my fav's! (p.s. the hardest part is CHOOSING!!)
BABY EDITION:
HA! Sack of Potatoes - love it!! :) You can do this yourself, just stamp the words on burlap. |
This idea is great, because you can do this even on a onesie - for a teeny, tiny baby. |
Just add sponges!! Easy! |
Cute for a crawler - and easy to do any animal! |
How adorable for twins?? Love it! I am trying to convince my two kids to do this costume (even though they are 5 & 7, but I am not having too much luck. I just love it though!!) Super easy and only the wigs to purchase! |
This makes me a little nervous - baby in a plastic bag...But, cute idea, right? |
This octopus is the best!! How funny is that? And all you will need is a little stuffing! :) |
I hope you enjoyed all the great ideas for baby DIY costumes. You don't need to spend a bunch of money to make your Halloween great. All it takes is a little creativity! Stay tuned tomorrow for the next post of DIY costumes!! (TODDLER EDITION)
God bless, Kristen
