What You Can Do to #Bring Back Our Girls

My heart is breaking for the girls who have been kidnapped in Nigeria. These girls are someone's precious daughters. They are girls who have pursued an education. They were being tested for college admittance. Now, they have been taken forcibly from their families. Probably abused. Maybe sexually assaulted. But, hopefully, rescued before they are sold and gone for good.

Here are some things we can do to help:

1. PRAY

Some places we cannot go, but our prayers can!

In the shadow of your wings
I find protection until the raging storms are over. Psalm 57:1

...my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord;
in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless. Psalm 141:8

Here is the list of missing girls:

2. Tweet the heck out of #bringbackourgirls

Our government will only respond because of the pressure they feel from the people. If we don't care, neither will they.

3. SIGN the petitions

Neither of these petitions have met the signature threshold that is needed. Your signature is important.

Change.org's petition

WhiteHouse.gov's petition

Blessings, thank you for caring for these girls,

Kristen
