COOK: Smoothie Deliciousness

I love a good smoothie. My Jamba Juice is located right next to a coffeeshop and if you know me, you know I love a warm drink anytime, anyplace (yes, even on the hottest day of summer! :). But you can't beat the feeling when you choose Jamba! I feel so alive and invigorated after gulping down the "Mango-a-go-go" smoothie. YUM!

This week, we are going on a Daniel's Fast, so no better time than now to find some new fantastic smoothie recipes, to help me get through my SUGAR WITHDRAWALS. :) My usual smoothie recipe includes yogurt and skim milk... two items that are a no-no on the Dan Fast. So, I scoured the net to find some non-dairy, sugar-free smoothies for you. I hope you enjoy the following recipes.

Antioxidant Smoothie

2 cups mixed frozen berries (9 ounces)
1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice

1 cup water

Combine berries, juice, and water in a blender; blend until smooth.

(ok, that sounds easy & totally delish...love the pom!)

"OUT OF THE HOUSE" SMOOTHIE
By the way, if you are out and about and want a smoothie, try Jamba Juice's, Non-Dairy Apples and Greens smoothie. YUMO!

I hope you enjoy these and many other smoothies as we all learn to allow our bodies to rest, flush out the toxins, and we learn to go to GOD for our comfort.

God bless you on your journey!
